Alyssa Maglone

Alyssa brings over a decade of higher education experience to her role in Academic Affairs at KU, which she began in October 2023. Her work supports key administrative processes related to accreditation, student learning assessment, academic program review, and academic integrity. Alyssa’s approach is rooted in continuous improvement and strengthening academic quality.

She is a first-generation college student who earned a master’s degree in College Student Affairs and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, as well as reading, baking, walking her dog, and traveling.
